During the Victorian Age in the 19th century, Blüthner was the official supplier to the Royal Court of Queen Victoria. The English society of that era held a deep admiration for the Neo-Renaissance style, which they believed convincingly expressed the opulence and prestige of belonging to the world's most influential nation. Queen Victoria and her consort Prince Albert were defining figures of this period, which was later named after them.
